The Petaluma Village Network has been re-named the Village Network of Petaluma, and the official website now is www.VillageNetworkofPetaluma.org.

The Village Network, launched in 2014, has been created to empower older adults 50+ who live in the Petaluma/Penngrove area to continue living active, vibrant and connected lives in our own homes as we age. For more information contact us at 707-776-6055 or info@VillageNetworkofPetaluma.org.

This innovative concept is inspired and supported by the nationwide Village to Village Network, a national peer to peer network to help communities establish and continuously improve management of their own Villages whether in large metropolitan areas, rural towns, or suburban settings alike. www.vtvnetwork.org.

The mission of the VtV Network is to enable communities to establish, and effectively manage, aging in community organizations initiated and inspired by their members.

The Village Network:

  • are membership-driven, nonprofit grass-roots organizations
  • are run by volunteers and one part-time paid staff member
  • coordinate access to volunteer services
including transportation, wellness programs, home repairs, and computer help, as well as social and educational activities and interest groups.
  • offer vetted service providers, who often provide discounts, if no volunteer is available or appropriate

Our office is located at 402 Petaluma Blvd. North, in Petaluma.
We hold monthly free Welcome to the Village information meetings. For details, contact us at info@VillageNetworkofPetaluma.org.
